Over the years, we have received several calls, emails and letter asking who to identify if a car is truly a certified Boss Shinoda or not.

From 1994 until now, many dealers across the United States have installed Boss Shinoda parts on all types of mustangs. Even if a car was sold at the dealership with Shinoda parts, it is not certified unless it includes the following:

Dash serial numbered and engraved badge with Shinoda replica signature.
Engine compartment serial numbered and engraved badge with Shinoda replica signature.
Letter if Certification issued by the Shinoda family.

A badged and certified car is a Ford Mustang that has been equipped to meet the requirements set forth by designed Larry Shinoda, The Shinoda family and Team Shinoda. There is no such thing as a factory built Boss Shinoda. All parts are added after it left the factory.

Please look for the badges, and if they are missing, then it probably is not a real Shinoda. Please feel free to e-mail us with any questions or concerns.
